NAWCC 2002 Seminar on pocket watch horology

Join your fellow pocket watch and research enthusiasts in this very special, and long-awaited celebration of American Watchmaking, October 17 - 19. Speakers will trace the origins of the early American watchmaking industry and the key developments of its first three formative decades. Scholarly presentations and an outstanding on-site exhibit will illustrate important early American watches and machinery. Participants will tour historic Waltham, visit famous grave sites on Mt. Feake, and enjoy a special educational program at the Charles River Museum of Industry.

The Antiquarian Horological Society and the Horological Sciences national chapter of the NAWCC will meet on Thursday evening, October 17, prior to the Seminar. Click here for information. Seminar participants are invited to attend both of these meetings.
